HYDERABAD: A three-month pregnant woman was hacked to death inside her home in Hyderabad Wednesday, allegedly by her former husband who was upset over her remarriage, reports Srinath Vudali.The accused, Devarakonda Mahesh, barged into Sunitha’s apartment. Carrying knives, a bottle of petrol and a chainsaw, he locked himself inside her room and allegedly attacked her following an argument.“Within minutes, he stabbed her multiple times, including on her head,” said inspector T Mahesh. Hearing her screams, family members rushed in and found her lying in a pool of blood. The accused had locked himself in the washroom. Police broke open the door and took him into custody. Sunitha and Mahesh, both techies, had married in 2022.
