Rs 1 Crore motorcycle! Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini launched in India

Italian performance motorcycle maker Ducati has launched the ultra-exclusive Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini in India at an eye-watering price of Rs 1 crore, ex-showroom. The limited-edition superbike is inspired by the Lamborghini Revuelto and comes as the latest collaboration between the two Italian brands. Ducati has confirmed that all units allocated for India have already been booked, with the first motorcycle delivered in Mumbai.Globally, only 630 numbered examples of the Panigale V4 Lamborghini will be produced, making it one of the rarest motorcycles ever brought to India. Ducati is also building an even more exclusive ‘Speciale Clienti’ edition limited to just 63 units worldwide, reserved only for Lamborghini owners. These customers will have the option to configure the bike in the same colours as their Lamborghini supercars.Based on the Ducati Panigale V4 S, the special edition gets several design elements inspired by the Revuelto. The motorcycle comes finished in a unique Lamborghini-inspired livery featuring exposed carbon fibre along with Verde Scandal, Grigio Telesto and Grigio Acheso accents. Ducati says the forged aluminium wheels, redesigned tail section and winglets have all been styled to reflect the design language of Lamborghini’s flagship hybrid supercar.Carbon fibre has been used extensively across the motorcycle to reduce weight and enhance exclusivity. Components such as the fairing, mudguards, heel guards, chain guard, exhaust protection, tank protection and radiator duct are all made from carbon fibre.

Powering the motorcycle is Ducati’s 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine paired with a six-speed gearbox and slipper dry clutch. In this special edition, the motor produces 216 bhp at 13,500 rpm and 122.1 Nm of torque at 11,250 rpm. The bike also gets an Akrapovic titanium exhaust with carbon fibre end caps along with a dedicated engine calibration for the higher output. The Panigale V4 Lamborghini weighs 185 kg without fuel, making it nearly 2 kg lighter than the standard Panigale V4 S. Ducati claims the motorcycle delivers a power-to-weight ratio of 1.18 hp per kg, making it the lightest and most powerful model in the Panigale family.Ducati has also added several collector-focused touches to the motorcycle. The billet aluminium triple clamp carries the model name and unit number, while the same number is laser-etched onto the aluminium ignition key badge. The instrument console gets a dedicated startup animation displaying the motorcycle’s name and serial number. Each Panigale V4 Lamborghini is delivered with a certificate of authenticity, customised motorcycle cover and a dedicated storage box for additional components. Ducati will also hand over the bike in a special wooden crate along with a rear stand finished in matching livery colours. For customers planning to use the motorcycle on track, Ducati also includes additional equipment such as a billet aluminium racing fuel cap, carbon fibre brake cooling ducts, open carbon clutch cover and a licence plate holder removal kit. However, some of these components are not road-legal.
