UP Home Guard exam city slip 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has issued advance information regarding examination city allotment for the UP Home Guard recruitment. The exam city intimation slip was made available on April 18, 2026, allowing registered candidates to check their allotted district ahead of the written examination.The recruitment drive covers 41,424 Home Guard posts, with the written examination scheduled across multiple centres in 74 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Each day will have two shifts, with the first scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM. The examination will be conducted in offline mode using OMR sheets.The board has clarified that the city intimation slip only provides details of the allotted examination district. It does not grant entry to the examination hall and must not be treated as the admit card.Admit card release timeline confirmedAdmit cards for the examination will be released three days before each scheduled exam date. Candidates appearing on April 25 will be able to download their admit cards from April 22, while those scheduled for April 26 and April 27 can access them on April 23 and April 24 respectively.The admit card download link will be activated on the official website. Candidates must carry the admit card along with valid identification to gain entry into the examination centre.Instructions and verification requirementsCandidates have been advised to carefully read all instructions mentioned in the city slip and the recruitment notification issued earlier. The board has also stated that e-KYC verification will be conducted at examination centres.
