TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh vs Ola S1  Pro 4 kWh: Range, specs compared

The electric scooter space in India continues to heat up with manufacturers focusing on bigger battery packs, more range and feature-packed offerings. The latest entrant in this battle is the TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh, which has now entered the market as a rival to the popular Ola S1 Pro 4 kWh variant. Here’s how these two models stack up against each other.

TVS iQube 4.7 kWh vs Ola S1 Pro 4 kWh: Battery & range

The TVS iQube S gets a larger 4.7 kWh battery pack, replacing the earlier 3.5 kWh version. In comparison, the Ola S1 Pro uses a slightly smaller 4 kWh lithium-ion battery. Despite the smaller battery, Ola claims a higher IDC range of up to 242 km, while the TVS iQube S offers a claimed IDC-certified range of 175 km on a single charge. Charging times are relatively close between the two. TVS claims the iQube S can charge from 0 to 80 percent in up to four hours using a portable charger. The Ola S1 Pro takes around 6.5 hours for a full home charge.

TVS iQube 4.7 kWh vs Ola S1 Pro 4 kWh: Performance

The Ola S1 Pro is powered by a mid-drive motor producing around 14.5 hp. It can sprint from 0-40 kmph in around 2.6 to 2.7 seconds and has a claimed top speed between 125 kmph. The TVS iQube S, meanwhile produces 5.9 hp and 33 Nm of torque. The scooter can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 82 kmph.

TVS iQube 4.7 kWh vs Ola S1 Pro 4 kWh: Features

Both scooters come loaded with technology features. The TVS iQube S gets a TFT display with smartphone connectivity, navigation support, ride statistics, reverse mode, crash alert, fall alert and anti-theft notifications. Ola counters with a larger 7-inch touchscreen running MoveOS, along with features like cruise control, OTA updates, proximity lock/unlock and multiple ride modes including Eco, Normal, Sport and Hyper.

TVS iQube 4.7 kWh vs Ola S1 Pro 4 kWh: Colours

The TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh is available in new shades including Magnificence Purple Beige, Harlequin Blue Beige and Titanium Grey Matte. The Ola S1 Pro can be had in colours such as Midnight Blue, Porcelain White, Industrial Silver, Jet Black and Stellar Blue.

Talking about pricing, the new TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh is priced at Rs 1,37,142, ex-showroom. The Ola S1 Pro 4 kWh, depending on the variant and offers, is priced from Rs 1.34 lakh, ex-showroom.
