Yamaha R15 range gets price hike: Variant-wise prices, details

India Yamaha Motor has increased prices of its popular R15 motorcycle line-up in India, making the entry-level supersport slightly more expensive across all variants. The latest revision applies to the entire range, including the Yamaha R15S, Yamaha R15 V4 and the top-spec Yamaha R15M. The updated prices have come into effect from May 2026.The price hike stands at Rs 4,900 across the range. Following the revision, the R15 line-up now starts at Rs 1.56 lakh, ex-showroom, for the R15S, while the R15 V4 range is priced between Rs 1.71 lakh and Rs 1.76 lakh depending on the variant. The flagship R15M now costs between Rs 1.86 lakh and Rs 1.96 lakh, ex-showroom, with the White Metallic C becoming the most expensive model in the range at Rs 1,96,100.Despite the increase, the R15 continues to remain one of the most popular motorcycles in the entry-level performance segment.

Mechanically, there are no changes to the motorcycle. The R15 range continues with the same 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine featuring Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). This motor produces around 18.1 bhp and 14.2 Nm of torque and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike also gets features such as assist and slipper clutch, while select variants offer a quickshifter.
