Ra Navami is one of the most auspicious day in Hindu religion.. The day is also known as Ram Janmotsav, which means the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram. As we all know that he is the seventh incarnation of lord Vishnu who took birth in Treta Yuga to eliminate the injustice and establish the righteousness in the universe. He was born in the form of a human and lived a very simple life just like a human. He is a perfect example of an ideal man that’s why he is known as Maryada Purushottam Ram. This day is considered an extremely sacred and auspicious day for the devotees of Lord Vishnu, who worship him with pure devotion. We must tell you that many people celebrated Ram Navami on March 26th but Ayodhya city and Iskcon devotees will celebrate this festival on March 27, 2026. We all know that Lord Ram belonged to solar dynasty or Iskhavaku dynasty that’s why he is called as Suryavanshi so worshipping Lord Surya on this very day is considered extremely meritorious. People will receive the blessings of Lord Surya if they offer their sincere prayers to Surya Dev on the day of Ram Janmotsav.
