RBI Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026: The Reserve Bank of India has invited applications for the post of Junior Engineer under its 2026 recruitment cycle, offering opportunities in Civil and Electrical streams. The recruitment is aimed at filling technical positions related to maintenance and supervision of infrastructure across RBI offices.As per the notification, the selection process will be conducted in two stages, beginning with an online examination. Candidates who qualify will be called for a Language Proficiency Test.

RBI Junior Engineer recruitment 2026: Key dates

The application window opened on April 16, 2026, and will remain open till May 6, 2026. Candidates must complete the application process, including fee payment, within this period.Applications can be submitted only through the official RBI website. No offline mode is allowed. The online examination is tentatively scheduled for June 6, 2026, though the Bank has indicated that the date may change if required.

RBI Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026: Vacancies

The recruitment is being conducted for Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical) posts. A total of 11 vacancies have been announced.Out of these, 7 vacancies are for Civil posts and 4 for Electrical posts. The positions are distributed across different zones, including North, South, East, West and Central regions.

RBI Junior Engineer Eligibility

Candidates applying for these posts must have a diploma or degree in the relevant engineering discipline. Civil Engineering qualifications are required for Civil posts, while Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering qualifications are required for Electrical posts.The age limit is between 20 and 30 years as on April 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.Candidates are also advised to regularly check the official website for updates related to the recruitment process.
