Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued an advertisement for recruitment of Assistant Professor (Broad Speciality) with Odisha Medical Education Service (OMES) cadre. Eligibility criteria for OPSC Assistant Professor

Candidates must have a postgraduate degree in the relevant medical speciality recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Additionally, one year of post-PG senior residency or tutorship experience in the same speciality is required. The age limit for applicants is between 21 and 45 years as of January 1, 2025, with relaxations for reserved categories, women, and PwD candidates. It is important for applicants to verify their eligibility carefully before beginning the application process.

The notification regarding this recruitment has been published on January 19, 2026. The deadline to send online applications is from January 27, 2026, and last until February 3, 2026 until 5 PM. The requirement for this recruitment is to apply through the OPSC website at opsc.gov.in. Application forms should be filled out by candidates and require them to attach all necessary documents and preserve a copy of the filled-out form as well for future purposes.Candidates to be selected will be appointed at Academic Level 12 on the rules under ORSP (MCT), 2019, along with other government allowances.
