Candidates allowed to challenge NTET answer key from May 1 to May 3 2026 window

NTET answer key 2026: The National Testing Agency has issued the provisional answer key and recorded responses for National Teachers Eligibility Test 2026, conducted in Computer Based Test mode on 28 April 2026 across the country. Candidates can access the challenge facility through the official NTET portal from 01 May 2026, as per the public notice issued on 01 May 2026 by the agency.The answer key challenge process allows candidates who are not satisfied with any response to raise objections by paying a non-refundable fee of 200 rupees per question. The window for submission of challenges remains open from 01 May 2026 to 03 May 2026, with the last payment deadline set at 11:50 PM on 03 May 2026. Payments are accepted through debit card, credit card, net banking and UPI only.Challenge window and fee details for NTET 2026 answer keyCandidates are required to visit the official NTET website https exams nta nic in ntet and log in using application number and password to access the challenge interface. After entering captcha, candidates can view question IDs and the answer key options marked by the National Testing Agency. To raise objections, candidates must select the relevant option IDs, upload supporting documents in a single PDF file, and submit claims before proceeding to payment.Revision of answer key and result preparation processIf any challenge is found valid, the answer key will be revised by experts and applied uniformly to all candidates who attempted the corresponding question. The National Testing Agency will not communicate individual acceptance or rejection of objections. The final answer key prepared after expert review will be treated as conclusive for result processing and declaration.Helpline and support informationCandidates seeking clarification related to NTET 2026 may contact the National Testing Agency helpline number +91-11-40759000 or write to ntet@nta.ac.in for assistance. The official website www.nta.ac.in and the NTET portal remain active for accessing notices, answer key challenges and updates. All submissions must be completed within the stipulated timeline ending 03 May 2026 at 11:50 PM, as no requests will be entertained after the deadline under any circumstances. The processing fee of Rs 200 per question remains non-refundable and applies to each challenge submitted. No further correspondence will be accepted once the final key is published by the expert panel.
