After the incident gained attention, LizLaz said several media outlets contacted her and allegedly tried to convince her to make false claims about the cricketer.Speaking about the situation during an interview with Filmymantra Media, she said: “Some journalists even offered me money to say bad things about him (Virat Kohli) and make allegations he never made. But why would I do that?”She also made it clear that Kohli is her favourite cricketer and said she had no interest in damaging his image for publicity or money.LizLaz explained that she was surprised by the attention the incident received and admitted she became emotional after noticing Kohli’s interaction with her post.“I was very happy and a little emotional about it, but I never expected something like this to happen,” she said. She added that the sudden media attention became uncomfortable, saying: “Some people even pressure you to say things you don’t want to say.”The model insisted she rejected every offer made to her because she did not want to spread false stories. “So why would I say bad things about him for money? I’m not that kind of person,” she said. After the controversy, LizLaz posted several pictures wearing a Royal Challengers Bengaluru jersey.
