Ahead of Formula E’s highly anticipated GEN4 Unleashed event in France next week, Jaguar TCS Racing has unveiled its GEN4 proto_TYPE, further building excitement around the new era. The Formula E test livery features data-derived speed tracings from the iconic Monaco street circuit, showcasing Jaguar’s cars across all four generations. The striking design adds to the growing anticipation for the GEN4 cars set to debut next season.
What does Jaguar’s GEN4 proto_TYPE look like?
Jaguar revealed the GEN4 test livery on Instagram, captioning the images: “Every generation leaves a trace… Captured in data, refined through development, and realised in GEN4. Our Jaguar GEN4 proto_TYPE in its testing livery.”Formula E’s official Instagram account commented, “Now that is a work of art.” Lola Yamaha ABT driver Lucas Di Grassi also praised the car, calling it “beautiful” in the comments section.
What Jaguar TCS Racing said about the new GEN4 test livery
Speaking about the test livery, Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal Ian James said, “We’re excited to unveil the Jaguar GEN4 prototype as we continue our preparations for this exciting new era of Formula E. Our unique testing livery not only reflects Jaguar TCS Racing’s time competing in Formula E, but also the significant technological and performance evolution over ten years of racing.”“Formula E is the perfect platform for Jaguar to remain at the forefront of EV technology innovation, and GEN4 represents another step change for the championship.
