IIT Mandi PRAYAS 4.0: Applications open for one-month AI, robotics course — fee, details, how to apply

IIT Mandi PRAYAS 4.0 2026: The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi has opened applications for PRAYAS 4.0, a one-month residential training programme in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Internet of Things (IoT). The IIT Mandi short-term course will be conducted in July 2026 at the institute’s campus under its Centre for Continuing Education. PRAYAS 4.0 is a skill development programme designed for students and learners from diverse academic backgrounds. The institute has stated that prior technical knowledge is not mandatory, making it suitable for beginners interested in AI, robotics and emerging technologies. The IIT Mandi AI and robotics course will include 5 to 6 hours of daily classes conducted by faculty members. The training will combine classroom sessions with hands-on laboratory work, giving participants practical exposure to real-world applications of AI, IoT systems and robotics technologies. During the four-week programme, participants will progress from foundational concepts to advanced topics. These include embedded systems, basics of artificial intelligence, sensor technologies and intelligent automation. The residential course also provides access to IIT Mandi’s infrastructure for practical learning and innovation-based training. The programme fee for IIT Mandi PRAYAS 4.0 is Rs 62,400 plus GST, which includes accommodation and food. On completion, participants will receive a certificate from the Centre for Continuing Education, IIT Mandi.
