Coimbatore’s GD Naidu flyover to remain closed from 11pm to 5am on five days

COIMBATORE: The Coimbatore city police have announced temporary traffic restrictions on the GD Naidu flyover on the Avinashi Road to facilitate essential infrastructure work. According to a press release, BSNL will undertake the installation of optical fibre cables on the flyover. Work is scheduled for five days from May 14 to May 18. Vehicle movement on the flyover will be banned from 11pm to 5am during this period. The city police have requested motorists to cooperate with the traffic restrictions and plan their travel accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
