The slip has been made available on the official website, ctet.nic.in, ahead of the admit card release. The city intimation slip is issued to help candidates plan travel and accommodation in advance. It does not serve as the hall ticket but provides critical logistical information before the examination day.

What the city intimation slip tells candidates

The CTET city slip will indicate the city of the exam that would have been allotted by the board. CBSE explained that though the board tries to allot centres in one of the cities chosen by candidates during the time of registration, the final decision rests with the board.Once a centre is allotted, it will not be changed under any circumstances, either due to personal or logistical reasons.CBSE has also stated that if the number of candidates in a particular city is too low, the examination may not be conducted there. In such cases, candidates may be assigned a centre in their second, third, or fourth preference city, or even in a completely different city.
