The beautiful sari that she wore and just her face, it was so iconic.”The Devdas premiere at Cannes in 2002 marked a defining global moment for Indian cinema, with Aishwarya Rai arriving alongside Shah Rukh Khan and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in what is still remembered as one of the festival’s most visually striking Bollywood showcases. Aishwarya and Shah Rukh gave fans and the media one of the most timeless moments as they stepped out of a carriage.
