Mahesh Narayanan’s much-anticipated action thriller ‘Patriot’, bringing together Mammootty and Mohanlal on screen after a long gap, continues its theatrical run with a visible slowdown in momentum. The film, which opened with strong expectations and heavy pre-release buzz, is now experiencing a gradual dip in collections.
‘Patriot’s day 13 box office performance shows decline
On its thirteenth day, ‘Patriot’ collected a net Rs 35 lakhs, according to Sacnilk. This marks a drop of approximately 25.5% compared to the previous day’s Rs 47 lakhs.The film registered the earnings from around 810 shows across India. With this, the total India net collection has reached Rs 31.15 crore, while the India gross stands at Rs 36.14 crore. The overseas market continues to contribute strongly with international earnings reported at Rs 43.15 crore pushing the worldwide gross total to Rs 79.29 crore.
‘Patriot’s occupancy trends
The overall occupancy on Day 13 was recorded at 8.24%. The morning shows opened weakly at 2.58%, followed by improved but still moderate turnout in later slots. Afternoon occupancy stood at 7.25%, evening shows rose to 9.50%, and night shows closed at 8.33%.
Day-wise breakdown for the Mammootty starrer
The film’s recent performance indicates a plateauing phase after the initial run. Day 11, which was the second Monday, saw Rs 47 lakhs from 912 shows with 11.0% occupancy. Day 12, the second Tuesday, maintained the same Rs 47 lakhs crore from 902 shows, again recording 11.0% occupancy.
