Masvidal spoke about how there is “communication” and that things are moving in the right direction, though nothing is official yet. Conor McGregor, who is 37 years old, has not fought since 2021, when he broke his leg in a fight with Dustin Poirier. Before that injury, McGregor last won a fight in 2020 by knocking out Donald Cerrone in less than one minute. He was expected to face Michael Chandler in June at the White House event, but that matchup has now been ruled out, and McGregor is looking at other opponents.Masvidal has not won a fight since 2019, but he remains confident. He also said he is willing to fight McGregor at most weights above 155 pounds if that is what it takes.
