RLDA site engineer recruitment 2026: Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has issued a recruitment notification for Site Engineer vacancies, announcing 40 posts to be filled on a contract basis. The vacancies include 30 positions in Civil Engineering and 10 in Electrical Engineering, with placements available across India.The application process is currently underway, and eligible candidates are required to submit their forms offline. The deadline for submission of applications has been set as May 22, 2026. The notification specifies eligibility criteria, selection stages, and procedural steps for applicants seeking engagement with RLDA.Vacancy details and eligibility criteriaThe recruitment covers Site Engineer roles in Civil and Electrical disciplines. Candidates applying must hold a B.E. or B.Tech degree in the relevant field with at least 55 per cent marks, while SC and ST candidates require a minimum of 50 per cent. Additionally, applicants must have at least two years of post-qualification experience in sectors such as construction, development, electrical systems, or MEP works.The upper age limit is capped at 45 years as on May 22, 2026. Age relaxation provisions apply as per Government of India rules for reserved categories, including SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwD, and ex-servicemen candidates.Salary structure and selection processSelected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs 76,000. The recruitment process will be conducted through a merit-based assessment followed by an interview and document verification.Merit evaluation will consider parameters such as last drawn gross salary, relevant work experience, and academic performance in B.Tech. Additional weightage will be granted to candidates possessing M.Tech qualifications or experience in Indian Railways, central or state public sector undertakings, or government departments.Application process and key instructionsApplicants are required to submit their forms offline via post or speed post. The application form and detailed notification, including annexures and checklist, must be downloaded and filled in block letters using a blue ball pen.Candidates must attach self-attested copies of all required documents and send a complete application set to the address specified in the official notification. It is mandatory to retain a copy of the submitted form for future reference, as original documents will be verified during the document verification stage.No application fee is applicable for this recruitment process.
