Priced from Rs 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra), the model is available in 125cc and 150cc versions and comes with a matching helmet as standard. Established in 1944, Officina 8 functioned as a dedicated experimental centre where engineers and technicians worked outside regular production lines to develop, test and refine prototypes. The work carried out there led to the patenting of the Vespa in 1946, introducing features such as the step-through steel frame, two-stroke engine, direct-drive transmission and handlebar-mounted gear control. As Piaggio’s research and development activities expanded in the following years, Officina 8 became closely associated with innovation and precision.
