Yuzvendra Chahal, fondly known as ‘Yuzi’, is Indian cricket team’s charismatic leg-spinner who has created a unique name for himself across formats. From being a chess prodigy to becoming one of the most dependable bowlers of the Indian cricket team, his journey is inspirational. Chahal has played a significant role in myriad national and international series wins and ICC campaigns.

His Indian Premier League (IPL) journey has been equally remarkable which started with Mumbai Indians (MI), moving to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and later becoming a match-winner for Rajasthan Royals (RR). As of 2026, he is among the IPL’S one of the highest-paid stars who was bought at a massive ₹18 crore deal by Punjab Kings (PBKS).
