The main plot of the story is that his grandmother loved and accepted him no matter what. This gives toddlers a happy and beautiful message about being yourself and being true to your heart.
4. What Can a Citizen Do? – Dave Eggers
This book takes a big, abstract idea like “citizenship” and makes it real and useful for young children. It follows a group of kids who work together to change a lonely island, showing that people can make “nothing” into “something” when they work together.
