FMGE result 2026: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is expected to announce the result of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) January 2026 session result soon on its official website, natboard.edu.in, according to various media reports. The candidates who appeared for the screening test can check their result online once it is announced. The result is expected to be announced by mid February. Although, there is no official notice or confirmation regarding the release date of the result yet. FMGE is a screening test that is held biannually for medical graduates who have obtained their primary medical qualification outside the country. Passing this test is a requirement for registering oneself as a medical practitioner in India. Passing the test means that the candidate has fulfilled the requirements for eligibility as specified by the NBEMS and the Medical Council of India.The computer-based test conducted in January 2026 had thousands of candidates sit for the exam at different test centers. The result, which will be made public, will contain the qualifying status, total marks, and rank of each candidate.

- On the homepage, look for the link titled “FMGE January 2026 Result” on the homepage.
- Click on the link to open the result PDF or scorecard page.
- Enter your login credentials if prompted (application number and date of birth).
- View and download the result.
- Save a copy or take a printout for future verification.
FMGE result 2026: What’s next after
The candidates who are eligible for FMGE will receive a scorecard or notification regarding the same. The board can provide a pass certificate after required verification, which is required for medical registration in India.
