When will CBSE release Class 10, 12 admit cards 2026 for regular students? Here is what we know

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to issue the admit cards for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations 2026 for regular students in the coming days. As seen in previous years, CBSE generally releases the hall tickets around five to six days before the commencement of the examinations. The board has already made the CBSE Board Exam 2026 admit cards available for private candidates.The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations 2026 are scheduled to begin on February 17, 2026.Candidates appearing for the CBSE board exams this year must carry their CBSE admit card 2026 to the examination centre on every exam day. Students will not be permitted to enter the exam hall without the admit card under any circumstances.

Private candidates and school authorities responsible for regular students can access the admit cards by following the steps given below:

  1. Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in
  2. Click on the link for CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 Admit Card 2026
  3. Enter the required login details
  4. The CBSE board exam 2026 admit card will be displayed on the screen
  5. Carefully check all details and download the admit card for future use

Details to verify on CBSE admit card 2026

After getting the admit card, it is essential for the students to verify all the particulars listed on the admit card, which are as follows:Student’s name, Roll No, Examination Centre Address, Subject-wise Dates of Exams, Photocopy, Signature.

Important instructions for exam day

In case there is an error or a mismatch, students should notify their school authorities forthwith and get it corrected before the exams. It is also advised that students take care of their admit cards even after the completion of the exams, as the admit card might be required while announcing the results or even for the next class admissions. CBSE has ordered schools regarding the printing of admit cards with clear printing and school stamp & signature. Admit cards without these details will be treated as invalid.Candidates should carefully note the reporting time, gate closing time, and subject codes mentioned on the hall ticket to avoid any confusion on the examination day. Electronic devices, study materials, and other unauthorised items are strictly prohibited inside the examination centres. Students are advised to reach the venue well in advance to complete security checks smoothly.
