Vidyut Jammwal joins Noah Centineo and 'Street Fighter' cast at CinemaCon; critics HAIL trailer as 'SPECTACULAR'

The upcoming live-action adaptation of ‘Street Fighter’ made a big impression at CinemaCon 2026, with the ensemble cast taking the stage at a special event. Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the film was one of the highlights of the event, showcasing character posters across the venue, while official social media handles released a teaser and confirmed that a full trailer would be made public soon. As per reports, attendees were also treated to an exclusive early preview of the trailer ahead of its release online.

Vidyut Jammwal promotes ‘Street Fighter’Bollywood star Vidyut Jammwal who plays a supporting role in the film, joined Noah Centineo and the rest of the cast on stage. The hunk, who portrays Dhalsim in the film, shared a personal anecdote, saying, “My mother would worry that I should not get hurt and she would wait for me.”

‘Street Fighter’ plot

Set in 1993, ‘Street Fighters’ revolves around estranged fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) who are thrown back into combat when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament. But behind this battle royale lies a deadly conspiracy that forces them to face off against each other.

Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim, Eric André as Don Sauvage, With Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson as Balrog, and Jason Momoa as Blanka. The film also stars Orville Peck as Vega, Olivier Richters as ‘Zangief, Hirooki Goto as E Honda, Rayna Vallandingham as Juli, Alexander Volkanovski as Joe, Kyle Mooney as Marvin, and Mel Jarnson as Cammy.The film is slated for release on October 16, 2026.
