UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has announced that today is the last date to apply online for the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026. The recruitment drive covers a total of 32679 vacancies for Constable posts in various units of UP Police and for Jail Warders in the Prisons Department.Eligible candidates who have not yet submitted their applications can complete the process through the official websites upprpb.in or uppbpb.gov.in. The online application process, which began on December 31, 2025, will close today, January 30, 2026, as per the official schedule released by the board.Vacancy details and eligibility criteriaThe recruitment includes posts such as Constable Civil Police, Constable PAC, Constable Special Security Force, Constable PAC Women, Constable PAC Armed Police, Jail Warder, and Mounted Police. The total number of advertised vacancies is 32679. Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board to be eligible for these posts.The prescribed age limit is 18 to 28 years for male candidates and 18 to 31 years for female candidates. The date of calculation of age is July 01, 2025. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and female categories need to pay Rs. 400. The application fee needs to be paid through online methods only.Selection procedure and pattern of examinationThe selection procedure for UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026 includes a written examination, Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test, verification of documents, and a medical test. The written examination will comprise 150 objective-type questions carrying a total of 300 marks and will be conducted for a period of 150 minutes. A negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applicable for each incorrect answer.
