“Mera phone off hogya,” she said in panic, quickly asking someone nearby for another phone. Rohit, who had already started walking away, got caught in a dilemma as the confusion continued around him. Clearly caught in an awkward situation, the Indian star, visibly frustrated, replied, “Toh abhi kya karu mai phir? (So what do we do now?)”Watch:The moment instantly caught attention online, with fans reacting to Rohit’s expression and deadpan response. Despite the awkward exchange, the fan eventually managed to click a selfie with the veteran batter before he boarded the bus. While the viral video generated laughs online, Rohit has recently been back in headlines for far more important reasons — his return to form for Mumbai Indians during IPL 2026.Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh recently praised Rohit’s impact after his match-winning innings against Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium. According to Harbhajan, Rohit’s return from injury could have completely changed Mumbai’s season had it happened earlier.“It’s important to be in the middle. You can do only so much sitting in the dugout,” Harbhajan said while analysing Rohit’s influence on the chase. He also felt Mumbai Indians might still have a slim playoff chance if results go their way in the remaining games.
