After weeks of rumors, Hilary finally broke her silence during an interview with The Los Angeles Times. What’s her take amidst all this chatter?Hilary revealed that she’s used to this kind of attention: “I mean, this is not new for me,” Hilary told the Times. “Since I was a teenager, my life’s been under a microscope. Every move gets documented. It all kicked off late last year, when Ashley Tisdale (now going by Ashley French) wrote an essay called “Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group.” In her essay for ‘The Cut’, Ashley admitted she felt impressed by her friends at first. But it stung when she realized she wasn’t being invited to certain get-togethers. She never named names, but people guessed, since she’d posted about hanging out with Hilary, Meghan Trainor, and Mandy Moore. She tried to brush it off and told herself everyone was just busy, but eventually, the feeling stuck. Before leaving the group chat for good, Ashley sent one last message, per People: “This is too high school for me, and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.”
