However, latest reports suggest the release has been preponed to May 1, 2026, a pleasant surprise for film enthusiasts eagerly tracking its OTT arrival. The Hindi version of the film, however, is expected to follow later on the streaming platform, after completing its eight-week theatrical run.

Unlike the first film, ‘The Kerala Story 2’ features an entirely fresh cast and a new storyline. The film stars Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, and Aishwarya Ojha in lead roles and is directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, with veteran producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah backing the project. The film will be available to stream in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil.

The film, directed by Sudipto Sen, went on to earn over Rs 300 crore worldwide.
