BTS returns with historic ‘THE COMEBACK LIVE ARIRANG’ concert at Gwanghwamun Square, streaming globally after long military hiatus

BTS fans all over the world are abuzz with excitement over the much-awaited return concert streaming live online titled ‘BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG’, marking the group’s first-ever concert since 2022 after they completed their military hiatus. This event is set to take place tomorrow at the historical Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul and it’s going to be a concert to remember!

Epic return to the stage

The concert will begin at 8 PM KST on March 21. This translates to 4:30 PM IST in India. Netflix announced the global exclusive livestream, highlighting the performance at the iconic square. “BTS will perform at historic Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. LIVE worldwide exclusively on Netflix,” stated their Instagram post.

This free public event launches BTS’ fifth studio album, Arirang, dropping March 20 with 14 new tracks crafted during a two-month LA session with producers like Diplo and Mike Will Made It. Expect live debuts of fresh hits, fan interactions, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and tour announcements. The show could set records as Netflix’s first live broadcast from South Korea, reaching over 300 million subscribers in 190 countries.

Documentary deep dive

Complementing the livestream, Netflix drops ‘BTS: THE RETURN’ on March 27. Directed by Bao Nguyen, known for The Greatest Night in Pop, the film chronicles the album’s creation and the members’ reunion after years apart. Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook reunite after serving, pouring their trademark enthusiasm into this release.BTS, created by HYBE in 2013, is a global sensation, with songs such as “Dynamite” and “Butter” dominating the Billboard charts and setting records. The band took a military break in 2022, but it paved the way for solo successes. This is their comeback, and they have reunited.
