‘The Batman Part 2’: Charles Dance may join cast, along with Robert Pattinson reprising his role as the lead
Veteran actor Charles Dance is reportedly in talks to join Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman Part 2’. Best known for his ‘Game of Thrones’ role, Dance might portray Charles Dent, father to Harvey Dent, who will be played by Sebastian Stan. Scarlett Johansson is also slated to appear. The film is scheduled for an October 1, 2027 release.

‘The Batman Part 2’ has been creating quite a buzz for quite some time now. With Robert Pattinson returning to the role of the Dark Knight, fans cannot seem to wait for updates and other things about the film. Other than Pattinson, many have been awaiting the announcement surrounding other actors that may be joining the franchise. As per the latest reports, there is a high possibility that a ‘Game Of Thrones’ actor may be joining the second film.

Charles Dance in talks of joining ‘The Batman Part 2’

As per a recent report shared by Deadline, famed actor Charles Dance, who is best known for his roles in ‘Last Action Hero’, ‘Alien 3’, and ‘Game of Thrones’, and many others, may be soon joining the official cast for the superhero film. As per the report, he is currently in talks with the film’s official team to join the franchise. While there have been no official updates from the veteran actor or the production studio in charge of ‘The Batman 2’, there have been reports that Dance may be playing the parental figure role of Charles Dent, father to Gotham district attorney Harvey Dent. It has been confirmed that Sebastian Stan, best known for his appearance in the Marvel franchise as the Winter Soldier, will be playing Harvey’s role. Scarlett Johansson will be playing his wife in the upcoming film.

When will ‘The Batman Part 2’ release

The film’s overall production is set to start sometime in Spring this year. Beyond that, it is slated for release on October 1, 2027. This date, however, can be prone to changing depending on a multitude of factors, including production delay, issues wth the cast, and many more things. Dance, on the work front last appeared on Guillermo del Toro’s Oscar-nominated ‘Frankenstein’ along with Mia Goth, Oscar Isaac, and Jacob Elordi.
