Sushmita Sen and her mother rent out Goregaon apartment with a total rental of Rs  73.76 lakh for three years

Sushmita Sen and her mother, Subhra Sen, have rented out their Goregaon apartment in Mumbai for a three-year period, earning a total rental value of Rs 73.76 lakh. The apartment is situated on the 12th floor of Oberoi Exquisite, a residential high-rise along the Western Express Highway. As per property registration records examined by real estate platform Square Yards, registered on February 26, 2026, the 1,241 sq ft flat has been let out to Pooja Yeole. The agreement includes two designated parking spaces and a refundable security deposit of Rs 6 lakh.

Sushmita Sen Marks 30 Years Of Miss Universe Win

The 36-month lease follows a staggered rent structure with a 5 percent annual escalation. The monthly rent stands at Rs 1.95 lakh for the first year, rises to Rs2.04 lakh in the second year, and further increases to Rs 2.14 lakh in the final year, taking the overall rental consideration to Rs 73.76 lakh over the full term.Registration documents also show that stamp duty of Rs 18,900 and a registration charge of Rs 1,000 were paid for the transaction. Attempts to reach Sen, her mother, and the tenant for comments were unsuccessful.This leasing deal follows closely on the heels of Subhra Sen’s recent real estate investments in the same area. In November 2025, she acquired two residential units in Goregaon East for a combined Rs 16.89 crore. The apartments are located in Elysian, a project developed by Oberoi Realty. Both purchases were registered in the same month, based on documents accessed from the website of the Inspector General of Registration and reviewed by Square Yards.One of the apartments was bought for Rs 8.40 crore and features a RERA carpet area of 163.59 sq m (1,760 sq ft), along with one parking space. This transaction involved stamp duty of Rs 42.02 lakh and registration fees of Rs 30,000.The second apartment, identical in size with a 1,760 sq ft RERA carpet area and one parking slot, was purchased for Rs 8.49 crore. Stamp duty amounting to Rs 42.49 lakh and registration charges of Rs 30,000 were paid for this acquisition.
