SSC GD admit card 2026 available online before CBT exam candidates must check details carefully

SSC GD admit card 2026: SSC GD Hall Ticket 2026 is out on the official website of Staff Selection Commission prior to the examination process. Those aspirants who have applied for the GD Constable vacancy will get their hall ticket through online mode few days prior to the scheduled examination date.According to the latest official notification, admit cards will be issued 2 to 3 days prior to each scheduled date of examination. The Computer-Based Test will take place between April 27, 2026, to May 30, 2026, in various shifts in different cities of India. The city intimation letter was also issued few days ago on April 19, 2026.Details of hall ticket and mandatory requirementsHall ticket is an essential requirement for appearing in the exam centre. Those candidates who do not carry admit card will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall under any condition. Admit card contains several important details such as exam date, shift timing, reporting time, examination centre address, and instructions to be followed during the examination day.It is mandatory that applicants ensure that all information mentioned in the admit card is correct. Discrepancies, if any, should be resolved before the examination to prevent problems at the time of entering or getting verified for the test.Overview of recruitment and eligibility requirementsThe recruitment process is ongoing for 25,487 GD Constable positions. Those wishing to apply must have completed Class 10. The age requirement is from 18 to 23 years as of January 1, 2026. There may be relaxation for the age limit according to regulations.These positions are in several forces such as BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles, and SSF.SSC GD Examination Date and Phase-wise ConductThe process of conducting SSC GD examination would take place in different phases. The dates for the first phase are from April 27 to May 2. The second phase will take place from May 4 to May 9. The third phase will be held from May 18 to May 23, while the fourth one will be held from May 25 to May 30.Each candidate should know their respective exam date and timings based on what is written in the admit card.Procedure to download SSC GD Admit Card 2026The admit card can be downloaded from the official website, which is ssc.gov.in, via the admit card tab on the website. Following the selection of the respective regional link, one needs to enter the login credentials, which are either the registration number and password or the date of birth.
