SPMCIL recruitment 2026: Currency Note Press Nashik releases notification for 500+ posts, check complete details here

Currency Note Press, Nashik, Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Finance has issued the recruitment notification for multiple posts under Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL). The exam is aimed at filling technical and administrative positions involved in printing currency notes, passports, stamps and other secure government documents. Candidates from engineering, diploma, ITI and graduate backgrounds can apply depending on the post.

SPMCIL recruitment 2026: Vacancies

There are a total of 534 vacancies across four units including Currency Note Press Nashik, India Security Press Nashik, Bank Note Press Dewas and Security Printing Press Hyderabad.Roles inlude Safety Officer, Welfare Officer, various Supervisor positions in technical fields, Junior Office Assistant, Secretarial Assistant, Artist (Graphic Design), and multiple Junior Technician roles across trades like printing, electrical, electronics and fitter. Supervisor roles are also available in multiple technical specialisations including mechanical, electrical, electronics, IT and civil.

SPMCIL eligibility criteria

The eligibility varies depending on the post. Candidates applying for supervisor roles need a diploma or degree in relevant engineering fields, while junior technician posts require ITI qualifications in specific fields.For administrative roles like Junior Office Assistant, a graduate degree along with computer knowledge and typing skills is required.The age limit also differs by post. For most supervisor and officer roles, candidates must be between 18 and 30 years. For junior technician posts, the upper age limit is generally 25 years, while for some administrative posts it is 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.Check the official notification here

Selection process

Selection for all posts will be done through a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Some posts, such as Junior Office Assistant and Secretarial Assistant, will also include a typing or stenography test after the written exam.The CBT will be conducted online and candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates regarding admit cards and exam schedule.
