The 350cc motorcycle segment is among the most competitive in India. One of its biggest names, the Royal Enfield Classic 350, faces stiff competition from several rivals, including the updated Yezdi Roadster. Here’s a closer look at how the two motorcycles compare.

The Classic 350 uses a 349 cc, air-oil-cooled single-cylinder motor that makes 19.9 hp and 27 Nm. Transmission is handled by a five-speed gearbox.In contrast, the Yezdi Roadster uses a 334 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder Alpha 2 engine. It produces 29.1 hp and 29.9 Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox along with an assist and slipper clutch.

The Classic 350 is built around a twin downtube frame and features 41 mm telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks that offer six-step preload adjustment. It gets a 300 mm disc at the front and a 270 mm disc at the rear, also with dual-channel ABS. It can be had with spoked wheels or alloy wheels, depending on the variant.The Roadster, on the other hand, goes with a more contemporary setup. It runs on alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, supported by telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking duties are handled by a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS offered as standard.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 vs Yezdi Roadster: Features

When it comes to features, the Yezdi Roadster comes with full LED lighting and a digital instrument console that displays information such as fuel level, gear position and real-time mileage. The Classic 350 stays closer to its old-school roots, featuring an analogue speedometer with a small LCD inset that shows essentials like the odometer, trip meters, clock and fuel gauge. It also offers a USB charging port, updated rotary-style switchgear and Royal Enfield’s Tripper navigation system on select variants.

Price is another area where the two differ slightly. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is priced between Rs 1.82 lakh and Rs 2.17 lakh, ex-showroom, depending on the variant. The Yezdi Roadster, meanwhile, is priced from Rs 1.93 lakh, ex-showroom.
