Candace Owens jumped into a growing online fight after a strange set of posts about Donald Trump started spreading. It all began when users noticed two pro-Trump voices sharing almost the exact same message about a controversial image. Soon after, Owens reacted sharply, calling it out in her own words. At the same time, Trump faced backlash for posting an AI image that showed him in a Jesus-like role, which upset even some of his usual supporters.

Candace Owens calls out identical Trump defender posts as Graham Allen and David J Harris Jr share matching responses

The issue started when people online saw two posts that looked almost copy-paste. One came from Graham Allen and the other from David J Harris Jr. Both defended Trump after he shared and then deleted the image.Graham Allen wrote:“I don’t believe the president intended to depict himself as Jesus when he posted it. He is a believer after all. I do appreciate that he deleted it, something President Trump has rarely done. Discernment is learned, not always automatic.”David J Harris Jr posted almost the same words:“Personally, I don’t believe the president intended to depict himself as Jesus when he posted it. He is a believer after all. I do appreciate that he deleted it, since it’s something President Trump has rarely done. Discernment is learned, not always automatic. Keep praying for President Trump.”A user then asked, “Why are these posts nearly identical?”That is when Candace Owens replied:“It’s called political prostitution. Their ideas are whatever the highest bidder wants their ideas to be.”Her comment quickly spread and added fuel to the discussion, with many people debating whether these messages were coordinated.

Donald Trump faces backlash after AI Jesus image post and criticism of Pope Leo XIV sparks anger among supporters

The bigger issue behind all this was Trump’s post itself. He had shared an AI-made image that showed him wearing robes and healing a sick person, similar to how Jesus is often shown in religious art. The image included a glowing hand and people around him, making the comparison clear. This post came shortly after Trump criticized Pope Leo XIV on Truth Social. He wrote strong words about the Pope’s views on foreign policy and crime.Trump said:“I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon. I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s terrible that America attacked Venezuela…”The timing made things worse. Many Christians and conservative voices online said the image crossed a line. Some even said, “God shall not be mocked,” showing clear anger from people who usually support him.Even though Trump later deleted the image, the reaction did not slow down. The mix of the AI post, the Pope comments, and the repeated defense messages turned this into a bigger controversy.
