This OTT platform secures digital rights of ‘Patriot’
As per FilmiBeat reports, the post-theatrical digital rights have been acquired by ZEE5. The platform is expected to release the film after its theatrical run ends. As of now, the makers have not confirmed an official OTT release date.Apart from OTT, the film’s television rights have also been locked. The ZEE network has acquired the satellite rights. Zee Keralam will broadcast the film after its OTT release.
Box office and critical response for ‘Patriot’
‘Patriot’ opened with solid numbers in India. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 9.80 crore net on Day 1. It was screened across 2,636 shows nationwide. The India gross reached Rs 11.37 crore.The film also performed strongly overseas. It collected Rs 18.00 crore in international markets on its opening day. This pushed the worldwide gross total to Rs 29.37 crore.Our critics have also taken note of the action film.
