Oben Rorr EVO e-bike launched! 180 km range, 0-80% charge in 90 mins

Bengaluru-based Oben Electric has expanded its electric motorcycle portfolio with the launch of the new Rorr Evo. The motorcycle has been introduced at an introductory price of Rs 99,999, ex-showroom, for the first 1,000 customers, after which it will be priced at Rs 1.25 lakh, ex-showroom. Bookings are now open for a token amount of ₹777, with deliveries set to begin from June 2026.

Starting with the design, the bike features a clean, streetfighter look. Up front, it gets a slightly robotic look; thanks to the V-shaped LED DRLs placed above a round headlamp. It also gets a sharp, aggressive headlamp housing. The tank area is sculpted with angular extensions followed by a slim, stepped seat. It features a lot of sharp panels and exposed elements.At the heart of the Rorr Evo is a 3.4 kWh LFP battery, paired with an in-house developed electric motor. The bike delivers a claimed IDC range of 180 km on a single charge and can reach a top speed of 110 kmph. Fast charging is another highlight, with the battery capable of charging from 0 to 80 per cent in just 90 minutes using a fast charger.It features a 780 mm seat height and a 200 mm ground clearance, besides also offering a 680 mm long seat with a total storage capacity of 10 litres, including under-seat and tank-mounted storage.

In terms of hardware, the bike uses a telescopic front fork and a monoshock rear suspension setup. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends, supported by Unified Brake Assist (UBA) and a Driver Alert System (DAS). The motorcycle also gets a reverse mode, which can be useful in tight parking situations.Feature-wise, the Rorr Evo comes equipped with a 5-inch colour TFT display offering ride data, navigation and smartphone connectivity for calls, texts and music. Additional features include geo-fencing, theft alerts, ‘Find My Bike’ functionality and fall detection with emergency alerts via the companion app.Oben has also introduced its SmartiQ system, an AI-based ride mode that adapts to riding patterns in real time to improve efficiency and extend range.
