Mumbai: The city crime branch’s Ghatkopar unit took custody of Saleem Dola, an alleged associate of gangster Dawood Ibrahim, in connection with his role in the Rs 252 crore banned drug manufacturing and supply case. Dola, a resident of Dongri in south Mumbai, was extradited to India from Istanbul last month. He is facing four drug cases registered with the Mumbai crime branch. Last July, Dola’s son Tahir, his associates Saleem Shaikh alias Saleem Lavish (35) and Mustaffa Kubbawala were deported from Dubai and arrested by the crime branch in drug cases.……..……..
