My dad was a stricter parent during our childhood days and it was Amma who would always stand as a buffer between us and him. So, if I wanted to ask or get permission from dad, Amma would tell him. But after our school days, dad started to treat us as pals. According to him, she rarely complained and never lost her temper, despite raising energetic and mischievous children.“I have never heard Amma complaining about a thing. Although I and my siblings were high spirited and a bit naughty, Amma always maintained her state of Zen. She is full of positivity. I have never seen her losing her temper,” Tovino Thomas addsThe actor also emphasizes that his mother has always trusted the decisions he made and supported him. “Even when I spoke about the girl I loved, Amma didn’t think about what others or the society would say. All she wanted to know was if I was happy with the person I chose,” the actor recalled.Athiradi set for releaseOn the professional front, Tovino Thomas will next be seen alongside Basil Joseph in ‘Athiradi’.
