The biographical drama ‘Michael’, based on the life of legendary American pop icon Michael Jackson is experiencing a good theatrical run at the box office worldwide. The film starring Jackson’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson in the lead has made over Rs 4,350 crore globally.
‘Michael’ two weeks collections
As per Sacnilk, in India, the first day made Rs 5.40 crore, including premier shows. The film made an average of Rs 5 crore daily throughout the weekend. However, the numbers then fell gradually due to the weekday phenomenon. The first week made Rs 26.05 crore. The next week saw a minor boost to the total as the weekends again saw good numbers with an average of Rs 4 crore each day. This brings only the second week’s total to Rs 18.20 crore.Now the film is currently in its third week, on day 15, Friday, it collected Rs 1.50 crore with 1,189 shows, which brings total India gross collections to Rs 54.78 crore and total India net to Rs 45.75 crore so far across 30,795 shows.The movie emerged as one of the biggest global releases of the year.
