Maharashtra SSC Result 2026: Girls outperform boys again with 94.96% pass percentage in Class 10 exams

The Maharashtra SSC Board Result 2026 has been declared, showing once again that girls have performed better than boys in the Class 10 examination. This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 76.33%.Among girls, the pass percentage reached 94.96%, while boys recorded 89.56%. The difference between the two groups stood at 5.40 percentage points, making the gender gap wider than in previous years.Over the past few years, girls have consistently scored higher than boys in the SSC examination. In 2025, girls recorded a pass percentage of 96.14%, compared to 92.31% among boys. The gap that year was 3.83%.In 2024, the overall result was higher at 95.81%. Girls secured 97.21%, while boys achieved 94.56%, leaving a difference of 2.65%. A similar pattern was seen in 2023 as well, when girls registered 95.87% and boys recorded 92.05%.The smallest gap in recent years was reported in 2022. That year, girls achieved 97.96% while boys stood at 96.06%, with a difference of 1.90%.

The Maharashtra State Board has made SSC Class 10 scorecards available online through its official websites.
