Lunar Eclipse 2026: Moon in Leo

This time Lunar Eclipse will take place in Leo zodiac signs under Purva Phalguni Nakshatra, which is a Nakshatra of Venus. This time period might bring some changes in their professional and personal life. The people who were single for so long, may find their soulmate but they need to leave their past behind, they should not carry the emotional baggage with them in their life. Let go of the past and move forward with the new beginning and new life. You need to cleanse your mind, body and soul after this Lunar Eclipse.

What is Blood Moon?

This even is going to be a spectacular event of the year, which is known as Blood Moon. The full Moon is shadowed by the Earth, and only light from the Earth’s atmosphere may reach it. Longer red wavelengths shine on the moon’s surface while shorter blue wavelengths are dispersed by this light. Because of this, the moon has a vivid reddish or coppery hue, earning it the nickname “Blood Moon.” This hue shift has been investigated by astronomers. It’s only a shift in appearance and sensation, and it poses no threat to anyone who witnesses it. A lunar eclipse can be seen without the need for specific eye protection, unlike a solar eclipse.

Chandra Grahan 2026: Visibility in other countries

Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, New Zealand, Australia, Antarctica, North and South America, Russia, and all of Asia will be able to see the total lunar eclipse.

When will this Chandra Grahan be visible in India?

India would not be able to see the initial phase of the lunar eclipse because the event will occur under “moonrise eclipse” conditions. This means that the eclipse will be in progress by the time the Moon rises in different parts of the country. As a result, the visibility period will vary significantly and people in different cities won’t be able to witness the eclipse until after moonrise. Only the last stage of the eclipse will be visible in India because the Moon rises later in the evening. The eclipse will occur between 6:20 and 6:30 PM IST in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai. Because the Moon rises earlier in the northeastern states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, and West Bengal, people there will have improved vision.
