Dhanush’s latest action thriller ‘Kara’ has achieved a notable milestone at the global box office. The Vignesh Raja directorial has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark worldwide within 13 days of release.Released in theatres on April 30, 2026, Kara is a Tamil-language period action thriller. India and overseas collections for ‘Kara’
According to Sacnilk, the film has earned Rs 34.50 crore in India net collections so far. Its India gross currently stands at Rs 39.75 crore.Kara has also posted decent numbers in international markets. The film has grossed Rs 10.40 crore overseas. This takes its total worldwide gross collection to Rs 50.15 crore.
Second weekend performance for ‘Kara’
‘Kara’ witnessed a healthy trend during its second weekend. On Day 10, which was the second Saturday, the film collected Rs 1.18 crore.Collections increased to Rs 1.33 crore on Day 11, the second Sunday. On Day 12, the second Monday, the film added Rs 77 lakhs.With these numbers, the movie’s overall India net total has reached Rs 34.50 crore.
