JK Bank apprentice recruitment 2026: Jammu and Kashmir Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 has reached its final stage with the online application window closing today, May 3, 2026. Candidates seeking entry into the banking sector are required to complete registration on the official portal jkb.bank.in before the deadline expires.The recruitment drive offers 614 apprentice posts across Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and several other regions including Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Bangalore and Mohali. The engagement is under the Apprentices Act, 1961 with a training period of twelve months and a monthly stipend structure defined by the bank and government contribution.Recruitment overview and vacanciesTotal vacancies stand at 614 with major allocation for the Jammu and Kashmir region followed by Ladakh and other states under the rest of India category.Important dates and application processApplications were opened on 20 April 2026 and the final date for submission is 3 May 2026. Candidates must first register on the NATS Apprenticeship Portal and then complete the application through the bank website.Eligibility criteria and age limitApplicants must hold a graduation degree from a recognised university completed on or after 01 January 2022 with proficiency in the local language of the respective region. Age limit is between 20 and 28 years as on 01 January 2026 with relaxation applicable as per government rules.Stipend and training detailsSelected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 13,500 comprising Rs 9,000 from the bank and Rs 4,500 through direct benefit transfer from the government along with Rs 1,250 conveyance allowance.Selection process and exam patternSelection will be based on an online written examination consisting of 100 questions carrying 100 marks with a duration of 60 minutes and negative marking of 0.25 for each incorrect response. Merit lists will be prepared district and category wise for final selection.How to apply stepsCandidates are required to complete registration on the NATS portal before applying through the J&K Bank website within the stipulated window. Applicants must upload photograph, signature, thumb impression and a handwritten declaration along with other supporting documents during the online submission process.Candidates who have not yet submitted applications must complete the process today, as the recruitment window closes on 3 May 2026, through the official website jkb.bank.in after ensuring eligibility and document readiness without delay today only.
