JAC Class 12 result 2026: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the Class 12 board exam results 2026 today, May 6, 2026. Students who appeared for the exams can now check and download their scorecards from the official website, which is jacresults.com. The results are also available on DigiLocker.
Passing marks and criteria
To pass the JAC Class 12 exams 2026, students must score at least 33% marks overall.
- For subjects with 70 marks: minimum 23 marks required
- For subjects with 100 marks: minimum 33 marks required
Students who do not meet the required marks will be considered failed.
Improvement exam option
Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for the improvement exams. These exams will be conducted only for the theory papers, while the practical marks will remain the same.

- Go to the “Latest Notification” section
- Click on “JAC Annual Intermediate Examination Results 2026”
- Enter your roll code and roll number
- Click on submit
- Your result will appear on the screen

Grading system
JAC follows a grading system based on marks scored:
- 80% and above: A+
- 60% to 80%: A
- 45% to 60%: B
- 33% to 45%: C
- Below 33%: D
Previous year performance
Last year, over 3 lakh students appeared for the JAC Class 12 exams. The overall pass percentage was:
- Science: 79.26%
- Commerce: 91.2%
- Arts: 95.62%
