Jammu horror: Woman found tied with rope inside plastic bag in Rajouri; probe on

JAMMU: A 45-year-old woman was found tied with a rope inside a plastic bag in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, police said on Monday. The woman, Azeem Akhtar, was freed and rushed to the GMC Hospital in a serious condition late Sunday, they said.The bag was discovered in an isolated stretch in the district’s Tandwal area. Police said they are waiting for Akhtar to recover enough to record her statement.(With agency inputs)
