NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad extended their winning streak in IPL 2026 with a stunning six-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday, pulling off a record chase of 244.It marked SRH’s fifth consecutive win, propelling them to third place in the points table. They remain ninth in the 10-team table, only ahead of Lucknow Super Giants on net run rate, with both sides having four points. Despite posting a formidable total earlier in the evening, MI once again failed to defend, underlining their inconsistency this season.Beyond the position swap between SRH and Rajasthan, the rest of the table remains largely unchanged. Gujarat Titans occupy fifth place with eight points, followed by Chennai Super Kings with six. Delhi Capitals are seventh, also on six points, while Kolkata Knight Riders sit eighth with five.With the league stage entering a crucial phase, the playoff race is heating up. SRH’s dominant run has added fresh momentum to their campaign, while MI face an uphill task to revive their season in the matches ahead.
