Indian Navy Agniveer SSR, MR exam 2026: Written test dates out; admit card expected soon

The Indian Navy has released the detailed exam schedule for Agniveer SSR and MR recruitment 2026. The written examination will be conducted on May 13 and May 14/15 across the country. Candidates who have registered for the recruitment drive can expect the admit card to be released shortly on the official website.The recruitment process is being conducted for Agniveer SSR, Agniveer MR, and SSR (Medical) posts for the 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches. The application process for these posts had concluded earlier on April 6, 2026.

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR, MR exam 2026: Selection procedure

The selection process will begin with the INET 2026 examination, which will be conducted in computer-based mode. Candidates who qualify will move to the next stages, including the Physical Fitness Test (PFT), followed by the second stage written examination, document verification, and medical examination. Each stage is mandatory, and candidates must clear all rounds to be considered for final selection.Candidates who clear the written exam will have to appear for the Physical Fitness Test. Male candidates are required to complete a 1.6 km run in 6 minutes and 30 seconds, along with prescribed push-ups, sit-ups, and squats. Female candidates will have separate standards, including completing the run in 8 minutes, along with other physical tasks.Candidates who are finally selected will undergo training at INS Chilka in Odisha. The training phase is a key part of the Agniveer recruitment process and prepares candidates for their roles in the Indian Navy.
