The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations is expected to declare the ICSE Class 10 Result 2026 in the last week of April. Though no official announcement was made regarding the date of the ICSE results 2026, it is speculated that the results might be announced in the same period as the previous year.ICSE Class 10 result 2025 showed a remarkable 99.02% pass percentage, where the girls performed better than the boys. Over 2.4 lakh candidates had accessed the result through the online portal after its announcement. CISCE will issue digitally authenticated marksheets featuring QR codes for verification. These documents will be considered valid for admission to higher education institutions across India.Hard copies of certificates will be dispatched to schools later, but students can immediately use digital versions for academic purposes.
ICSE Result 2026 Date: Trends point to late April declaration
In all previous years, there has been a trend for the early announcement of the results. The results of ICSE 2025 were declared on April 30. The results of 2024 were out on May 6, whereas those for 2023 were declared on May 14. In the current academic session, the ICSE class 10 board exams 2026 have taken place from February 17 till March 30.

Students can follow these simple steps to access their ICSE Class 10 result 2026 online:
- Open the DigiLocker website (digilocker.gov.in) or mobile app
- Log in using your registered mobile number or Aadhaar-linked credentials
- If you are a new user, complete the sign-up process and link your Aadhaar
- After login, go to the “Issued Documents” section
- Click on “Search Documents” and select CISCE as the issuing authority
- Choose ICSE Class 10 Marksheet 2026
- Enter your Unique ID and other required details
- Click on “Get Document”
- Your digital marksheet will appear on the screen

Rechecking, compartment exams, and post-result options
Students dissatisfied with their marks can apply for rechecking of answer sheets through the CISCE portal within the prescribed deadline. A fee of ₹1,000 per subject will be charged.Students not clearing one or two subjects shall be allowed to take compartment exams, which are likely to be held in July 2026.Marksheets will be issued by CISCE with a digital seal carrying QR code, and they will be accepted in all Indian educational institutes for admission purposes.Certificates will be delivered to schools at a later date, while digital marksheets can be used immediately for any academic requirements.
