The story of Vanshpreet Singh (husband), Anmol Kaur (wife) and their five-year-old son Sukhmehar Singh is one such tale of hope, faith and self-respect. I saw that the video has touched over thousands of hearts already. What I saw was a cute little boy, camera-friendly for sure, telling the world about what his parent’s day’s tiffin menu was in his cutest and heart-melting voice. In the video, he stands in between his parents. He introduces his mother first then his father then camera slowly pans towards the food where Anmol tries to explain each dish through hand gestures. As she signs, the boy translates: “Ye to hai aalo, gajar, mattar. Ye kale chane”. No drama, no acting, just a little boy, becoming the voice of his parents’ for the world.He is Sukhmehar.
