"His parents can't speak, so their 5-year-old son became their voice": How the little one is helping them grow their online business

Some stories don’t shout; they arrive quietly and stay with us long after we’ve scrolled past. The story of Vanshpreet Singh (husband), Anmol Kaur (wife) and their five-year-old son Sukhmehar Singh is one such tale of hope, faith and self-respect. Mohali’s deaf and mute couple’s story reminds us that courage doesn’t always speak aloud, and hope often finds its voice in the most unexpected ways. While scrolling on Instagram, I came across an Instagram video that made me curious. I saw that the video has touched over thousands of hearts already. What I saw was a cute little boy, camera-friendly for sure, telling the world about what his parent’s day’s tiffin menu was in his cutest and heart-melting voice. In the video, he stands in between his parents. He introduces his mother first then his father then camera slowly pans towards the food where Anmol tries to explain each dish through hand gestures. As she signs, the boy translates: Ye to hai aalo, gajar, mattar. Ye kale chane”. No drama, no acting, just a little boy, becoming the voice of his parents’ for the world. He is Sukhmehar. And his parents, Vanshpreet Singh and Anmol Kaur. Both are deaf and mute by birth. Today, the family runs a small tiffin service called Quietly Deliciousfrom Mohali, Punjab. Their tiffin journey began on December 15, 2026, but reaching here was not easy.Their journey
